Dear Family and Friends,

Welcome to the TEAM CHUBBS Page!

This is our very first year of participating in the Giant Race (formerly known as the Plate to Plate race). We've decided to do the race because we have the perfect opportunity to give back to the community while working towards a healthier lifestyle for ourselves.

We are so excited that the beneficiary of the Giant Race is Project Open Hand (www.openhand.org), which is an AMAZING organization that provides food and nutrition programs to the critically ill, homebound, and people affected by HIV/AIDS  in the community. Last year, through the generous donations of friends, family, and supporters, the Giant Race raised over $100,000 to support the much needed efforts of Project Open Hand. This year, we would like to solicit your help in supporting our team in reaching our fundraising goal. Please consider donating to such a wonderful cause!  Any amount would greatly help and be so much appreciated.

Should you decide that you would like to participate by crossing home plate, we invite you and anyone you know to join our team. Anyone and everyone is welcome!

Just as the Giants are World Champions in baseball, Project Open Hand is a World Champion in our community.  Project Open Hand provides nourishing meals and groceries for individuals who are too sick to shop or cook for themselves and to seniors.  You can help them ensure that no one living with an illness in our community goes hungry.
