Parking - San Francisco

Are you a visual learner? Review our trusty map below. If you need words, keep reading. The Giant Race has just as many participants as most baseball games, so treat it as such. Get here early, carpool if you can, don't expect parking to be easy, and be patient!

Pre-Paid Parking: this year, all official ballpark lots (A, B, C, E) are reserved for pre-paid passes ONLY. No cash will be accepted onsite.  DO NOT try and show up with cash and park in Lot A/B/C/E, as you will be turned away. This is an effort to improve traffic flow and eliminate congestion on race morning. You have the option of selecting a pre-paid parking pass during registration. If you've already registered for the race, please email info@giantrace.com to reserve a parking pass.

Street Parking: is available and relatively easy to find in the AT&T Park neighborhood on a Sunday. South of the ballpark there are many two hour street spots available (for you faster runners). North, northwest, and northeast of the ballpark there are ample metered spots that take credit cards. Please note: many San Francisco street meters operate on Sunday, so don't think it's free and leave your car for hours!

Public Transit: we encourage you to take public transit, because as you know, we are not the Texas Rangers and there are no empty fields of grass next to our stadium. MUNI runs early, and taxicabs are always awake.

Regardless of how you travel, please come early and help us avoid race morning traffic congestion. Because who needs rush hour traffic on a Sunday, right?
